A blown boro focal bead with clear stand.  An inner color fade runs from deep green to yellow while amber-fuchsia hobnails, black accents and a coil of ruby red dance from end to end. Comes with one of my clear stands.
Bead measures- 72mm x 22mm in diameter. 2mm hole size.
Stand measures about 5" tall.

 This blown boro focal bead began as clear glass tubing, decorated on the inner surface with colored stringer and gold vapor, the outside decorated with a layered petal design. The matching stand has two hot-formed eyelets, a handpulled, removable glass "pin" is inserted to suspend the bead in place. These are a new concept from 2011, well received at recent shows. They are a satisfying piece to create and show how I feel about the simple thing that is a bead and allow the bead itself, to be a little something more.
